Rockford Area Pride Parade Now Accepting Entries for 2025 Celebration

Rockford, IL – The Rockford Area Pride Committee is thrilled to announce that parade entries are now open for the 2025 Rockford Area Pride Parade, set to step off at noon on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The parade will take place in downtown Rockford along State Street, bringing together community organizations, businesses, and individuals to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and LGBTQ+ pride.

Organizations, businesses, individuals, and community groups interested in participating are encouraged to register their floats, walking groups, or decorated vehicles via the Rockford Area Pride Committee’s website at www.RockfordAreaPride.org. The registration fee is $50.00 per parade unit. Registration is open to all who support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community and wish to be a part of this vibrant event.

“The Rockford Area Pride Parade is a cornerstone of our annual celebrations, and we invite everyone to be part of this incredible day of visibility and unity,” said Andrew J. As one of the largest Pride events in the region, the parade aims to create a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to express themselves, celebrate progress, and advocate for equality. Spectators can expect an energetic and colorful procession filled with music, performances, and inspiring messages of love and inclusion.
